4 suspects arrested for setting fire to a motorcycle in Maduvvari

Four suspects have been arrested from R. Maduvvari for setting fire to a councilman’s motorcycle.

The incident was reported to police on Wednesday.

“Sun” has been informed that the suspects had set fire to a motorcycle which belongs to Vice President of Maduvvari Island Council, Ibrahim Thasleem.

The suspects arrested are all Maldivian men the age of 19, 22, 23 and 24.

They were arrested by police the same day the incident was reported, after obtaining arrest warrants.

The fair cause irreparable damage to the motorcycle, and damaged the deck, doors and windows of the house it was kept in.
