Anil charged with running Home Minstry

The President has charged the Attorney General, Mohamed Anil with running the Home Ministry.

Home Minister, Ahmed Zuhoor told Sun Media tonight that he is currently abroad on holiday and so the Attorney General has been charged with running the Minsitry.

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom appointed Zuhoor to the Home Ministry after the former Home Minister, Umar Naseer resigned from the position. The government has not yet released the cause of Umar Naseer’s resignation.
