While two 14-year-old boys were murdered in two separate attacks on 3 June, it is believed that behind the two deaths is a case of a drug “bullet.”
As the investigation continues following multiple arrests, a high ranking official of the Police said that they the investigation so far, the violence began after a disagreement on a drugs issue between the minors that belong to the two gangs in Maafannu, “Vaikanmathi” and Eagles.
“Not something very intoxicating, a bullet. For them (those children) it is a big thing. From the investigation of those under arrest we know this.” The official told Sun Media.
Two 14-year-olds, Ahmed Irushan Hilmee and Faathir Mohamed Ali were murdered in two separate attacks where knives were involved.
Police have a group of people in custody in relation to the case and the investigation is ongoing.
