Sinaan re-appointed to MTTC Board of Directors

Sinaan Ali has been re-appointed to Maldives Transporting and Contracting Company (MTCC) Board of Directors.

The move comes mere days after he was appointed Chairman of State Electric Company (Stelco).

President of Privatization Board, Mohamed Nizar said that Sinaan was re-appointed to MTCC Board of Directors upon request of MTCC Chairman.

Nizar said that the move was discussed with Sinaan before it was implemented.

Sinaan spoke to “Sun” on Thursday and said that he was re-appointed to MTCC Board before he started his job as Chairman of Stelco.

Major changes have been brought to top positions in state-owned companies recently.

This includes former Chief Executive Officer of MTCC being appointed Managing Director of Maldives Road Development Corporation. And Ibrahim Ziyath being appointed CEO of MTCC.
