Remand for Ziyadha’s husband extended for 18th time

Remand period for Ibrahim Shah, 40 - who was arrested for sexual assault of his wife Ziyadha Naeem which resulted in her death – has been extended for the 18th time.

Police said that Criminal Court granted 10 more days for his remand on May 5.

Ziyadha – from G. Dh. Thinadhoo – died at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital – receiving treatment for the injuries she sustained.
