Young man has been stabbed in the neck

A young man has been stabbed in the neck in a gang fight that took place this evening in Malé City.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that a man was injured in gang violence today around 5:45 p.m. and is being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Information Officer of IGMH, Zeenath Ali Habeeb said that young man of around 20 years was brought to the hospital with a deep stab wound in the neck and is in surgery.

The gang violence took place at the junction of Majeedhee Magu and Shaheed Ali Hingun.
