Young man stabbed in the neck today has died

The young man who was stabbed in the neck in a gang fight today in Malé City has died while undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Information Officer of the hospital, Zeenath Ali Habeeb confirmed to Sun Media that he died at 7:45 p.m. tonight.

The young man was attacked at the junction of Majeedhee Magu and Shaheed Ali Hingun around 5:45 p.m.

Media Official of the Police told Sun Media that the case is being investigated as a serious case and no arrests have been made so far.

The Information Officer of IGMH said that the young man was in a serious condition when he arrived at the hospital with deep cuts on the right side of his neck.
