President’s advice to all students that complete school

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that the biggest problem facing the students that complete school is not knowing the field they want to go forward with and advised the students to ask oneself what they want and proceed to follow that.

Speaking as the chief guest at the op Achiever's Award ceremony for senior higher secondary, President Yameen said that the hopes and dreams for the top achievers by the people have been increased.

The President said that education is neither the beginning nor the end of something but the source to create something that is needed. And so the responsibilities begin from the point of education.

President Yameen said that there are also a lot of pressure from the parents, teachers and the society when it comes to pursuing further studies and students can go forward without being touched by that pressure if they know what they want to pursue and have a strong will to follow it.

The President said that fewer opportunities to those with lower educational results is how things go and keep in mind moving forward.

The President also advised the students to be those that know how to shape their own life and trusts oneself.
