Brawl in Night Market leaves expat injured

An expatriate working in a stall at Night Market was left injured after a brawl on Tuesday afternoon.

An eyewitness reported to “Sun” that the incident took place at around 12:45 pm. And that the brawl took place between three Maldivian men and the expatriate.

“Looks like its regarding something that happened last night,” said the eyewitness who works in a stall at Night Market.

The expat suffered serious injuries in the brawl, and is currently being treated at the hospital.

Dhivehi Security Pioneers (DSP) – who are in charge of security in the area confirmed that a brawl took place at Nigh Market.

Police have arrested two Maldivians in the incident.
