Public Service Media (PSM) has said that they would be releasing an audio and video of the Dhivehi translation of the holy Quran.
Speaking at the signing ceremony with the sponsors of "Enme Aligatha Thari" tonight, the Managing Director of PSM, Ibrahim Khaleel said that the work on the audio and video of the Quran translation began when PSM was legally formed.
And so the Dhivehi translation of the holy Quran would be brought to the public in the upcoming month of Ramadan.
He said that a mobile application that would support all phones is set to be made with the release.
The Managing Director of PSM said that users can select and listen to individual Surats (Chapters) with the meaning.
Although a Dhivehi translation of the holy Quran has been released previously in the form of a book, this is the first time the translation is being made available in audio and video formats.
