Commissioner calls the Police to make resolve stronger than political influence

Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Areef has said that the Police need to make the resolve in their heart stronger than the political influences can penetrate and locks of courage aim of the Police needs to be stronger than the enemies of the state and faith could open.

Speaking at a special promotion ceremony held last night at Iskandharu Koshi, Commissioner Areef said that responsibility needs to be the origin and secret of success of the Maldivian Police Service.

Commissioner Areef said that the service of the Police should be based on responsibility on a foundation of sincerity.

Indicating to the officers that won the promotions and medals at the ceremony, Commissioner Areef said that the “shines” added to the uniforms represents the diligent responsibility to the nation.

The Commissioner said that the work of the Police is not an easy one has every officer on duty faces challenges from the public. And to fulfill the responsibilities of a true police officer, one needs to show a professional Police officer.

Police said that the Deputy Commissioner, Ahmed Saudhee and members of the executive board of the Maldives Police Service were in attended along with the Commissioner at the ceremony which was closed to the press.
