Man arrested after attempted stabbing

A man who attempted to stab another man on Sosun Magu has been arrested.

When Sun Media journalists arrived on scene, the assailant had hidden at Lucky Hiyaa hotel near the Islamic University.

The man was arrested by a team of SO Police that entered the hotel.

Police Media Official said that a man who tried to instigate an attack in Malé City was arrested this evening around 5:40 p.m.

The Police did not share any more information on the case.

While a man who attempted a stabbing was arrested today, two different attacks took place in Malé City last night, one involving a sharp object where two people were injured.

One of the people who were injured in the attack was discharged from the hospital after treatment and the other in High Dependency after surgery.
