Elderly woman injured in Addu roadside accident

An elderly woman was injured and taken to S. Hithadhoo Regional Hospital after a roadside accident S. Maradhoo, Monday night.

The accident took place on Addu Link Road at 9:45 pm.

The 79-year-old woman was hit by a taxi.

She is suffering various injuries including a broken leg.

Her family is working on transporting her to Male’ for further treatment.
