Shareef replaces Junaid as Commissioner of Customs

Former Maldives Ports Limited CEO Ibrahim Shareef has replaced Mohamed Junaid as Commissioner of Customs.

President’s Office Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali has confirmed the move.

Shareef also served as senior general manager of State Trading Organization, Chairman of Island Insurance Board of Directors, and Chairman of Maldives Gas Board of Directors.

“Sun” has been informed that Junaid has been transferred to MPL CEO position.
