Stelco: Permanent solution found for Hulhumale electricity issue

State Electric Company (Stelco) has said that the company had found a permanent solution to the recent electricity issues in Hulhumale.

Stelco media coordinator Ibrahim Rauf informed “Sun” on Saturday that they had resolved the issues with electricity and had started providing electricity once again.

“Now it has been permanently resolved. There won’t be any power cuts anymore, god willing.

Now something may happen unexpectedly. But the issues have been resolved,” said Rauf.

The recent power outages in Hulhumale due to technical issues had been very inconvenient for people living on the island.
