President Nasheed: MDP didn’t decide to take part in the talks

Ex-President Mohamed Nasheed has said that his party, MDP has not decided to take part in the multi-party talks.

The former President said this in a tweet he sent out today.

While the former President Nasheed has said this, the Fisheries Minister, Dr. Mohamed Shainee met with the press today saying that the political parties have assured that they are ready to take part in the talks.

Dr. Shainee said that the response by the political parties on the media is very different from the one they gave to the government.
