United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Miroslav Jenca arrived in Maldives on Saturday.
He was welcomed upon arrival at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) by Maldivian Foreign Minister Dhunya Maumoon.
Jenca is visiting Maldives upon invitation of Maldivian government. And is scheduled to meet with high-ranking government officials and talk about the current political situation in the country.
Jenca’s visit comes at a time when a delegation from British-Maldives All-Party Parliamentary Group is also in the country to assess the current political situation.
