Didi and Alhan join JP

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) former President Dr Ibrahim Didi and Vice President Alhan Fahmy have joined Jumhooree Party (JP).

The ceremony is ongoing at Trader’s Hotel, where JP Leader Gasim Ibrahim gave a speech. MDP former Secretary General Shah has also joined JP.

Dr Didi expressed confidence that he will not face similar issues with JP, as he did with MDP. Alhan praised Gasim and said that JP is run on democratic principles, and that JP will win the 2013 presidential election.
