Fire onboard launch travelling near resort

A fire incident occurred onboard a speedboat travelling near Reethi Rah Resort, Thursday morning.

Police media official said that the incident was reported to them at around 7:55 in the morning.

The three people who were travelling onboard the speedboat had jumped into the ocean when the fire irrupted, and had been rescued by a boat travelling nearby.

The three people suffered no injuries.

A similar incident occurred in September this year when a souvenir speedboat caught fire.

Police said that they had not yet confirmed to whom the speedboat belong to, and that the incident was under investigation.
