Foreigners arrested for public intoxication

Four Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested for public intoxication on a Hulhumalé ferry.

Sources say that they live in Hulhumalé and got drunk at Hulhulé Island Hotel (HIH).

Information Officer of the Police, Ismail Ali told Sun Media tonight that they made the arrest around 6:30 p.m. He said that the four people were arrested after a public disturbance and a noise complaint was reported to the Police.

Officer Ismail Ali said that the investigation so far has revealed that at least two of the four people were drunk.
