Two tourists dead in accident at sea

Two tourists have died in an accident involving a speedboat and a diving boat near Kaafu Maafushi.

The deceased have been identified as a Malaysian woman aged 16 and a Chinese woman aged 42.

The diving boat was carrying six people and the speedboat four, at the time of the accident.

Police said the accident took place at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and none of the remaining people suffered any serious injuries.
