Former Defence Ministers Thol-hath Ibrahim Kaleyfaanu and Colonel-retired Mohamed Nazim has been transferred to Asseyri Prison again.
The two who were serving their sentences at Asseyri Prison were transferred to Maafushi Prison on 25 October.
Correctional Service said that the change was made within the regular procedure.
Colonel Nazim was sentenced to 11 years in prison after being convicted of import of a firearm to the Maldives. He has since appealed the case.
Thol-hath was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of terrorism for his involvement in the unlawful arrest of the Chief Judge of the Criminal Court, Abdulla Mohamed.
The former President Mohamed Nasheed, who is serving a 13-year prison sentenced for terrorism and former MP for Dhiggaru constituency, Ahmed Nazim who was sentenced to 25 years in prison after being convicted of misappropriation of government funds are both serving out their sentences at the Special Protection Unit of the Maafushi Prison.
