Drugs found inside band aid under the foot

A man and a minor have been arrested after finding drugs hidden inside a band aid under a person’s foot.

Police said that they arrested a 29-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy on Monday night in front of the Foreign Ministry.

During the search after the arrest, Police said that they found bullet size rubber packets inside a band aid under their foot.

Their remand was extended by the Criminal Court by five days to continue the investigation.

The case is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Department of the Maldives Police Service.
