Cab windshield smashed by falling branch

The rear windshield of a taxi cab has been smashed by a branch that fell off a tree inside the courtyard of Aminiya School.

The wall of the school on Lily Magu was brought down yesterday for repairs. A Sun Media Journalist in the area at the time of the incident said that the branch fell after it got torn off from the tree.

The Sun Media Journalist witnessed the branch fall and smashing the rear windshield of the taxi. The branch was from a tree with hanging branches. Police arrived at the scene soon after.

“The rear window was completely broken. But no one was injured.” A witness to the incident said.

Police said that an incident was reported around 2:50 p.m. today about a branch falling and smashing the rear windshield of a taxi cab.
