The second staff from G.A. Villingili powerhouse that got electrocuted during an electric work for the island road construction has been brought to Malé City.
Talking to Sun Media, the Vice President of the Villingili Island Council, Thamheen Hassan the man was brought to Malé City on the evening flight.
“He was taken to Malé for further treatment on the evening flight today. I don’t know which hospital he was taken to.” Councilman Thamheen said.
He said that the man was not is serious condition and was transferred to Malé City upon the family’s request.
Councilman Thamheen said that although he is not in poor condition, his paralysis has not entirely passed.
The incident took place during repairing a broken electrical wire. The other staff of the Villingili powerhouse that got electrocuted passed away last night.
