Scholarships announced in six areas

Department of Higher Education has announced scholarships in six fields.

The subjects offered for the four-year Bachelor’s Degree courses from a Bangladeshi university are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Naval Architecture.

In an announcement on Monday, the department said applicants should have obtained C or above in GCE O’Level exam or IGCSE exam, B or above in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in GCE A’Level exam, and C or above in English in IGCSE or an equivalent exam.

Applicants can only apply for one course and will be required to pay all living allowances, the department said.

The deadline for submissions is 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, 6 December 2015.
