Two people who hit a man with a stone sentenced to four years

Criminal Court has sentenced two people who hit another man with a stone to four years in prison.

Abdulla Mazin and Ibrahim Hussain were sentenced for assaulting a man who was on Chaandhanee Magu on 28 March.

The sentence from Criminal Court yesterday said that witness testimonies prove that Maazin attacked Mohamed Sifan (Sh. Feydhoo) with a stone while he was going by EuroStore. And at that moment, Ibrahim Hussain also attacked with a stone from near the South Gate of Iskandhar School.

Under the law against threatening and possession of weapons and sharp objects, the two men were charged with battery.
