Man arrested for suspected sexual abuse of minor

A 22 year-old man has been arrested from K. Hura for suspected sexual abuse of a 13 year-old girl.

Police said that the man was arrested with a court order in relation to a complaint filed at Himmafushi Police Station on Monday night.

Himmafushi Magistrate Court has awarded police 15 days of remand during which the man is to be kept at a place decided by Ministry of Home Affairs.
