Ali Khalid appointed Communication Chief of President

Former Television Maldives CEO Ali Khalid has been appointed Communication Chief of President’s Office.

President’s Office said that the purpose of Communications Department was to increase the efficiency of the process of sharing information regarding important work carried out by government. And that President Yameen had appointed Ali Khalid of M. Finifaru to the position of Chief Communication Officer of the department.

With the creation of Communications Department, work previously carried out by Press and Communication Section, and Public Affairs Section is now being carried out by the department.
