Dr. Shukury resigns as LGA CEO

Dr. Ahmed Shukury has resigned as CEO of Local Government Authority (LGA).

LGA media coordinator Abdulla Azmeen informed “Sun” that Dr. Shukury had handed in his resignation three days ago, but that they did not know the reason behind his decision.

Dr. Shukury hasn’t picked up our calls and we are therefore not been able to get a comment on this matter by him at this moment.

Dr. Shukury had served as CEO of LGA ever since it was created.
