Pedestrian on foot injured after collision with a motorcycle

A pedestrian walking near by Aagalaa Mart, a shop on the Bodu Magu (main road) of Hithadhoo, Addu City, has been injured after being hit by a motorcycle driving by.

Information Officer of the Police, Ismail Ali told Sun Media tonight that the incident took place around 7:10 p.m.

He said that no one sustained any serious injuries in the collision.

Head of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, Khadheeja Hafsa told Sun Media tonight that the pedestrian on foot was a 68-year-old man and he suffered scrapes and bruises on his face and body. And said that he is not in serious condition.

Hafsa said that the motorcycle was driven by a young man and although he suffered some injury to his back, he is not in serious condition.
