Several injured in fire in Kulhudhuffushi

Several people have been injured in a fire at Nimakage in Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said the fire took place at around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, and was controlled at around 5:50 a.m. by MNDF Northern Area Fire Station.

Those who were injured were taken to Kulhudhuffushi Hospital with the help of people gathered in the area.

Parts of the house were damaged in the fire.
