Abbas replaced by Junaid as Commissioner General of Customs

Abbas Adil Riza has been dismissed and Mohamed Junaid appointed as Commissioner General of Customs.

This has been confirmed to Sun Media by President's Office Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali.

Until now, Junaid served as CEO of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).

The reason for Abbas’s dismissal is unclear.

Muaz also said that the post of CEO of MPL has not yet been filled.
