Thalib leaves Adeeb

Ahmed Thalib has announced that he is no longer a member of former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb’s legal team.

Thalib told Sun Media that he left the team because given the current situation, he would not be able to provide any legal assistance to Adeeb.

Earlier, Ali Nadeem also left Adeeb’s legal team when police initiated an investigation against him.

Former Prosecutor General Hussain Shameem, who was included in Adeeb’s legal team, has been suspended.

The only lawyer presently representing Adeeb is Moosa Siraj.

Siraj has said that he meets with Adeeb every day.
