A hapless, hand shackled man was captured trying to avoid court proceedings as he was escorted to Criminal Court by police officers.
An eye witness interviewed by Sun Online said that the man had tried to flee as soon as he was made to climb off the police jeep – at around 10:05 am. But that police had run after him and captured him at Fiyaathoshi Magu.
“He fled towards the narrow road [Fiyaathoshi Magu] near Justice [Building] as soon as he was made to climb off the jeep. There were a lot of police officers here. They went after him and caught him,” said the eye witness.
A police media official confirmed to Sun Online that a mad had indeed been caught after attempting to flee while he was escorted to court.
