President meets with MPs of PPM, MDA, JP

A meeting is under way between President Abdulla Yameen and MPs of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), Maldives Development Alliance (MDA), and Jumhooree Party (JP).

JP Leader Gasim Ibrahim is also present at the ongoing meeting at Muleeaage.

The issues being discussed at the meeting between the President and two government coalition parties and JP, a former coalition party, have not been revealed by any party.

Vice President Ahmed Adeeb is not present at the meeting. MDA Leader Ahmed Siyam Mohamed is also absent as he is not in the country.
