Health Ministry conducts screening program for STELCO staff

Health Minister and the Health Protection Agency (HPA) which is under the ministry, has conducted a health screening program with the STELCO for their staff.

The purpose of the new screening program by the Ministry is to recognize the health status of the staff at the companies and consult on maintain healthy lifestyles.

The Health Ministry presented the health report on the STELCO staff to the company. After accepting the report, it was launched by the Managing Director of STELCO, Abdul Shukoor.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Health Minister, Iruthisham Adam said that importance to maintain a healthy lifestyle when working long hours.

And so conducting health screening with the Ministry by other companies and Government institutes is a good step towards keeping the employees in good health.

Managing Director of STELCO, Abdul Shukoor said that they would correct the points noted in the report and continue in the future. And he sent his gratitude to the Health Ministry for conducting such a program.
