Elderly man found dead in the sea at Fehendhoo

An elderly man has been found dead in the sea in B. Fehendhoo.

President of the Fehendhoo Council, Moosa Naseem told Sun Media that the dead were reported at 12:50 p.m. today.

“A man called at 12:50 and said that the man was dead in the sea. Then we went there and brought him to shore.” Naseem said.

He said that the man has now been taken to the Fehendhoo Health Center and the doctors confirmed his death.

Councilor Naseem said that a Police team is on their way to the island.
