Man commits suicide in Kurendhoo

A 25-year-old man has committed suicide in Lhaviyani Kurendhoo.

The victim has been named as Abdulla Arif.

Police said that a man was found dead at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in a room in a house in Kurendhoo.

Kurendhoo Council President Ismail Madheeh told Sun Online that Arif was receiving treatment for a mental disorder.
