Missing Fuvahmulah boat found

The boat that went missing while out fishing from Fuvahmulah has been found in the sea off Seenu Gan.

The search was launched last night, and Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said that that boat, called “Kanduroadhi”, was found at around 7:30 a.m. today.

Information Officer of MNDF Adnan Mohamed said that everyone on board was in good condition, and the boat lost contact because it was in an area with no network coverage.

The boat was not damaged in any way, said Adnan.

The fishing boat was reported missing at 8:25 p.m. on Sunday by the family of one of the fishermen.
