Ooredoo Maldives have introduced two packages that allow users to share Data with other users.
Speaking at a press conference at the Ooredoo Office today, the CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, Vikram Sinha said that the “Ooredoo DataShare” was introduced under their “ThankYouMaldives” campaign.
The two packages introduced by Ooredoo today are “DataShare 699” and “DataShare 1299”.
Ooredoo’s DataShare 699 package receives an allowance of 10 GB which can be shared among three users. And the DataShare 1299 receives 25 GB which can be shared among five users.
CEO of Ooredoo Maldives says that the shared data can be used among users on different devices.
“There packages are designed with a small family in mind. Now there is no need for different packages, one package would suffice.” CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, Vikram Sinha said.
He said that the target of Ooredoo is to provide data packages at the lowest rates to their customers.
DataShare is available for Prepaid, Postpaid as well as for Broadband Prepaid. To activate a #DataShare pack, dial *929*14#.
Like the rest of the Data plans offered by Ooredoo, DataShare also has a validity of 30 days.
Ooredoo says that if the shared users exceed the limit on DataShare, each user would be charged individually. And so the user who took up the service would not have to be responsible.
