Land issued to build caf

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has issued land to Wings Services Private Limited, to build a beach café in Hulhumalé.

The agreement in this regard was signed by Managing Director of HDC Mohamed Simon, and Managing Director of Wings Services Hassan Bagir.

HDC said that under the agreement signed today, a “Dome” café will be built on “Ruggandu” area in the island.

The 4,305.56 sq ft land was issued for 15 years, and according to the agreement, the one-storey building shall be developed within six months.

Simon said that more land will be issued for cafés and restaurants in the near future.
