Man arrested for stealing a handbag from a mosque

A man who was fleeing after stealing a handbag from the Merchant’s Mosque has been arrested.

The 22-year-old man was arrested, while fleeing with the bag, by an officer out on patrol.

Police said that the bag was found thrown away during the search of the area he was arrested in. And a phone from the bag was also found in that area.

The Police said that the man arrested for the theft has a record for vandalism, theft, robbery, gang violence and a large number of drug related crimes.
