A man who vandalized a pickup truck arrested at the harbor area

A man has been arrested for vandalizing and attempting to steal from a pickup truck at the South West Harbor in Malé City.

Police arrested a 32-year-old man for the vandalism. They said that after the man was taken into custody following the vandalism around 2:10 p.m. today, a large number of keys were found in the front pocket of his jeans.

The man taken into custody today has a record with the Police for sale and abuse of illegal drugs along with gang violence and mugging with sharp weapons.

Police said that the case is being investigated by the General Investigation Department.
