Two councilors of Kudafari and a councilor from Maafaru signs to MDA

Two Island Councilors for N. Kudafari and one Councilor from the atoll’s Maafaru Island Council have signed to MDA. The Councilors signed to MDA at a special ceremony in held in N. Kudafari as part of the MDA’s program to increase it’s members.

The two Councilors from Kudafari who signed to MDA are Nisham Qasim and Haamid Faaiz. The two Councilors were with MDP before they joined MDA.

The Councilor from Maafaru that signed was Muslih Mohamed. Before he signed to MDA, he was an independent councilor.

The Leader of MDA and the MP for D. Meedhoo constituency, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed along with the Deputy Leader of the party and the MP for N. Kendhikulhudhoo, Ali Mauroof and Deputy Leader, Aishath Rafiyya took part in the signing ceremony.

Members of the MDA National Council and a number MDA Island and Atoll Councilors also took part in the ceremony. A large number of membership forms from new members to MDA were presented to the Leader of the party in this ceremony where a number of supporters of the party attended.
