VP Adeeb back home

Maldivian Vice President Ahmed Adeeb returned back to Maldives on Wednesday morning after a series of official visits – fist to Egypt and then to Malta.

During his visit to Malta, VP Adeeb met with Malta President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and handed over a letter sent to her by Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen.

VP Adeeb also met with Deputy Prime Minister of Malta and the Minister of European Affairs and Implementation of the Electoral Manifesto, Louis Grech; as well as Minister for Finance Edward Scicluna.

His visit to Malta follows a visit to Egypt to attend the opening ceremony for the new Suez Canal.

VP Adeeb’s visit to Egypt and Malta were his first and second official visits since assuming office.
