Malta and the Maldives has discussed economic relations

Malta and the Maldives have held discussions to establish economic relations.

Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta and the Minister of European Affairs and Implementation of the Electoral Manifesto, Louis Grech.

In today’s meeting, Vice President Adheeb said that the relationship between the two countries would strengthen in the future and the effort would be put into it.

Vice President Adheeb also discussed strengthening economic relations with the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Adheeb said that Malta is a model country in making investments. And he shared information on the Maldivian tourism sector to the Deputy Prime Minister Grech.

Highlighting the broadening of the Maldivian economic sector, the Vice President also noted the efforts by the Maldivian Government to strengthen the economic sector.

In the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta assured that the Maltese Government would also aid the Maldives.
