Over 1k stolen from Hulhumale

A safe in Hulhumale’ Petrol Shed - run by Villa - has been broken into in a robbery worth over MVR 100,000.

Police said that the incident had been reported at around 8:00, Sunday morning.

Police said the robber(s) had broken into the office through a window and had proceeded to break into the safe and take over MVR 120,000.

Police have made no arrests in relation to the incident as of yet.
