A Maldivian student has been brought back from the war-torn Yemen

A Maldivian student in Yemen among the conflict has been safely brought back to the Maldives with Government aid.

The Foreign Ministry said today that the student was brought back to the country on his request. And so a staff at the Maldivian Embassy at Saudi Arabia was sent to Oman and the student was brought through Oman.

And the student arrived in Maldives yesterday.

There is a strong conflict taking place among different factions and the military loyal to the President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi. And the Saudi has been conduction airstrikes against the Houthi faction which has put the country in an even worse condition.

The most of the Maldivian students in Yemen were brought back with the aid of the Indian Government earlier on.
