A foreign suspect in sexual assault case found while hiding

A foreigner who is involved in the sexual assault of a 17 -year-old girl has been found hiding in a cement mixer

Police said today that a 23-year-old Bangladeshi national was arrested regarding a case reported on 1 August in F. Nilandhoo.

He was found hiding inside a cement mixer in a secluded part of the island while searching for is involvement in a sexual assault case.

Nilandhoo Magistrate Court ordered the foreign national to 15 days in Police custody when he was taken to the court regarding his remand.
